Russia To Ban iPhone and iPad From 2015
According to a report in the International Business Times, Russia is set to ban the iPhone and iPad from 2015 ‘as a result of a new law that forces online services operating in the country to store their data locally’.
This law doesn’t just affect any device that uses Apple’s US based iCloud servers but also potentially Facebook and Twitter too.
A report from Progorod claims,"the internet ombudsman Dmitry Marinichev believes that Apple will not have enough time to move all the data storage to Russian territory by 2015".
As many of you will have heard last week Vitaly Milonov a Russian politician stated that Tim Cook should be banned from the country after coming out as gay. "What can he bring us? Ebola, AIDS, gonorrhoea?" Milonov said. "They all have promiscuous relations (in the West). Ban him forever."
Apple is yet to respond…
