Mobile Art – AppArt – Winter Challenge – TheAppWhisperer
It’s been so long since we’ve all worked on a common theme, so I think it’s time for an AppArt Challenge! The details are listed below and the selected images will be presented in a showcase shortly after the challenge is closed.
CHALLENGE 5: Winter
Deadline is January 26, 2016
Our theme for this new challenge will be winter, some love it, I am not one of them. Here is a winter poem called “A Daughter of Eve” by Christina Rossetti to get your thoughts going.
A fool I was to sleep at noon,
And wake when night is chilly
Beneath the comfortless cold moon;
A fool to pluck my rose too soon,
A fool to snap my lily.
My garden-plot I have not kept;
Faded and all-forsaken,
I weep as I have never wept:
Oh it was summer when I slept,
It’s winter now I waken.
Talk what you please of future spring
And sun-warm’d sweet to-morrow:
Stripp’d bare of hope and everything,
No more to laugh, no more to sing,
I sit alone with sorrow.

I am with you, Bobbi. Winter is not my favorite time of year, however it is one of the most photogenic times of the year. I embrace a challenge that gets me “out into the elements”.

Yes, Ron, so important. Thank you for your feedback.
