iPhone Photography Awards (IPPA) – Winners of the 2015 iPhone Photography Awards Announced – UPDATED

I published this post earlier as news of the the IPPAWARD winners was published to their site. It seems that this was a mistake, on their part, they did not intend to publish this when they did. So, therefore, the information that you see below may not remain/be current and may also not be accurate as the final official announcement – according to the organisers. The iPhone Photography Awards™ (IPPAWARDS) is proud to announce the winners of the 8th Annual Awards. They were selected from thousands of entries submitted by iPhone photographers from 120 countries around the world.

The three Photographers of the Year Awards go to Michal Koralewski of Poland, David Craik of the United Kingdom and Yvonne Lu of the United States. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in 17 categories were awarded to 51 photographers. They represented countries far and wide including Australia, Canada, China, Croatia, Ecuador, Egypt, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Israel, Kuwait, Malaysia, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, the United Kingdom and the United States.

“This year’s entries were especially impressive ranging from intimate, thought-provoking moments to stunning, captivating imagery,” said IPPAWARDS creator Kenan Aktulun. “We’d like to congratulate all of our winners who once again showed the ability of the iPhone to take astonishing photographs.”

The Prizes

The three Photographer of the Year Award winners will receive an Apple Watch Sport. The first place winner in each category will be awarded a Gold Bar from the most recognizable private gold mint in the world.
