Maki Tabusa
Maki Tabusa captures the complex and richly patterned facade of a building right at the moment that a pedestrian cuts in front of the center of the composition. The strong, repeating shapes of the facade are the perfect backdrop for this solitary figure to pass by. Maki also makes sure the reflection of the building across the street is also captured, making her composition dense and very tight. Nice job Maki!
Rinkey Boleman
The drama created by the angle and point of view Rinkey chooses in this shot, emphasises the repeating triangle motif of this soaring high-rise. The end result is that the almost escalator-like upward thrust created by the triangular shapes gives the photograph its visual energy. Nice eye Rinkey.
Dani Salvatori
Dani positions herself at the perfect spot to capture the beauty of this beautiful curving staircase. The overall design and pattern of the composition is spot-on as we sense the dramatic flow of the steps downward. Beautiful Dani.
