Fabulous Film at Sundance Film Festival Shot using iPhone 5s and FiLMiC Pro App
This is fabulous and is exactly why we promote mobile movies within our dedicated Column on TheAppWhisperer, edited by Donna Donato. The Sundance Film Festival is known for showcasing more experimental films, but none more so than transgender prostitute movie Tangerine, shot almost entirely with the iPhone 5S. Sean Baker’s comedy drama follows a trans woman on a Christmas Eve hunt for the Hollywood pimp who left her heartbroken. Welcome to our Streets Ahead Challenge 9 ‘Selfies on the Street’ results. This challenge was different to our previous selfie challenge (which was in the style of Vivian Maier). This time, we wanted you to capture people taking selfies of themselves on the street – ‘social media models’. Welcome back to the forty-ninth article in the column, Mobile Movies. We at TheAppWhisperer have been inspired by the Flickr upgrade of 1 Terabyte of storage for everyone and have wanted to launch a mobile movie section for some time. Now seems to be perfect, the new Flickr upgrade will allow for a full three minutes of 1080p HD quality video per single film and you can have as many as you have storage space for.
