World Photography Organisation – Overall winners revealed: 2018 Sony World Photography Awards
We are delighted to reveal the overall winners of the 2018 Sony World Photography Awards. All the winners, including those from the Professional, Open, Student and Youth competitions, were announced at a prestigious award ceremony in central London. The successful images will now go on display at the 2018 Exhibition, London, until 6th May. Don’t miss one of the most diverse and exciting photography exhibitions of the year! All winners were flown to London for the ceremony and received Sony digital imaging equipment, publication in the winners’ book and get to see their work shown as part of the 2018 Sony World Photography Awards Exhibition. MAJE Florence & Rome Exhibitions and Awards. The Winners
As a proud member and a president of the Jury (along with Manuela Matos Monteiro and Cadu Lemos) for this exhibition in Florence and Rome, I am delighted to announce the winners for all sections, huge congratulations to you! As a proud member of The World Photography Organisation, I am delighted to announce the judges of the 2018 Sony World Photography Awards today honor the work of 40 British and UK based photographers by shortlisting and commending their photographs as the top 50 in the world in the Awards’ Professional, Open, Youth and Student Focus competitions. Mobile Photography Festival – mObgraphia 2018 – Further Details…
Yesterday, we said that more details would follow regarding the mObgraphia 2018 Mobile Photo Festival (which is currently open to receive submissions), today we can reveal them. There are two points of entry. There this one, ‘Open’ with six categories, including Arts, Documental, Landscape, Black and White, Portrait and Street. All of these are free to enter and the winning images will be printed and exhibited for 45 days in the Museu de Imagem e do Som – MIS Sp in Brazil. There is also another (to pay for) section, the Essay Category. The theme for the Essay category is ‘Water’. The organisers are looking for and select stories told…

New Mobile Photography & Art Competition – MAJE – Mobile Art – Jazz Experience – Submissions Open
I am inspired to announce the latest New ERA Mobile Photography & Art Exhibition, entitled Mobile Art Jazz Experience (MAJE). From the mind of visionary Andrea Bigiarini, It is a revolutionary concept of Mobile Art where photos will come ‘alive’ enhanced by live music, composed specifically for this event, by musician Marco Testoni (Pollock Project). Thirteen 511-inches screens and thirty two laser projectors installed in the Santo Stefano al Ponte church, will ensure this is an event, always to be remembered.
