There’s not one interview, article or showcase that doesn’t reflect this throughout TheAppWhisperer. My mind works in a multitasking constant, when viewing each Mobile Photography Showcase, as well as the order of the works, the music serves as a complement and also adds a surrogate meaning, to another event, always directed towards a chic other. ‘The Big Picture’ is an idiom we use for a number of expressions. As a noun, it may mean the overall scheme of something important, as opposed to the significant details. As an adjective it can be used to describe a scheme, such as ‘these are big picture projections, we’ll sort the details out later”. We also use it informally in conversation, such as one I was having with my eldest son this morning over breakfast, (he’s home from university). One of the many things I love about curating, producing and publishing our Mobile Photography & Art Flickr Group Showcase is it offers me the facility to tap into these talented artists lives. Many of the artists that we profile each Sunday morning are extraordinarily prolific with their art and when viewing the showcase, each image doesn’t stand on its own, more so as together, context is all. The more you move among the pictures, shifting back and forrth, the more your sense of mobile photography and art deepens, expanding by the moment.
