The Royal Photographic Society Education – Workshops and Lectures in Partnership with TheAppWhisperer
I just mentioned how delighted I am to be working closer with The Royal Photographic Society (The RPS) and reported on their very generous bursaries (see here). I also wanted to draw your attention to a series of Visual Literacy Lectures that The RPS are hosting within the UK during the year. Interesting report in TheVerge today via John Lasseter’s (Pixar co-founder) regarding iPhone and GoPro being the next ‘big thing’ for movies.. “Pixar co-founder John Lasseter says the next big thing for movies is the iPhone, the GoPro, and the other tiny cameras that we’re all carrying around. The Guardian editor, Jonathan Jones writes today, “the selfie queen has turned her portraits into a book. PHOTO LONDON Announces Talks Programme For This Year’s Debut Fair // 21-24 MAY 2015
The inaugural edition of Photo London will take place in May 2015. As London’s first international photography fair, it aims to harness the passionate, growing audience for photography in the city and nurture a new generation of collectors.
