Welcome to our sixteenth Portrait of an Artist Showcase! This Showcase complements our Portrait of an Artist Column edited by Michelle Robinson and Ile Mont. The characters within and behind them slip out of their frames, enticing us to imagine the stories of their lives. I must apologise for being quiet on the site from mid week, this week. On Wednesday I was admitted to hospital and underwent some quite comprehensive abdominal surgery.
