Bolt takes on ‘Blot’ in new Virgin Media ad campaign

    2013-06-28 / 1 Comment

We had a fabulous time learning about Virgin Media’s new multi-million pound advertising campaign earlier this week in Central London and today we’re delighted to be one of the very first to tell you more. Quick out of the blocks with the world’s fastest man, Usain Bolt and Sir Richard Branson bringing the benefits of superfast broadband to life. The ads kick off on primetime ITV and Channel 4 on Monday, 1st July. The campaign invites Brits to put their broadband to the test and sees Bolt, representing Virgin Media’s superfast fibre optic broadband, go head-to-head with Blot, a slow and inefficient challenger representing regular broadband powered by DSL technology.…

New BT iPad App Expands Free Wi-Fi Access

2011-01-20 / Comments Off on New BT iPad App Expands Free Wi-Fi Access

This application gives BT home broadband customers easy mobile access to free and unlimited wi-fi and includes a mapping service which is updated weekly so that customers can find their nearest hotspot. Once BT home broadband customers have downloaded the app, all they need to do is input their btinternet email username and password, and open the app whenever they are in a BT wi-fi area. Because access is unlimited and free for BT home broadband customers it will help customers prevent racking up extra data costs.     BT’s wi-fi network is the biggest in the UK – made up of BT Openzone and BT FON hotspots – and…
