This weeks Flickr Group Showcase of mobile photography and art refuses to stay silent. The characters within and behind them slip out of their frames, enticing us to imagine the stories of their lives. It is rare and exciting to find such urgent visual imagery, full of persuasive language and strategies. And it is refreshing to sense that the pull of much of this work derives from artistic living, beyond fear. Art is a crushing chore and a tremendous privilege.
