Apple Releases iOS 4.3.2
Apple today released iOS 4.3.2 that includes bug fixes and security updates. The update applies to the GSM iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 1 and iPad 2, and the 3rd and 4th-generation iPod touches. The bug fixes are said to include a fix for a bug that caused video to go blank or become frozen during FaceTime calls and another bug that kept some international iPad users with 3G models from connecting to local cellular networks. iOS 4.3.2 does not apply to the Verizon iPhone 4, which has its own update available today as well. iOS 4.2.7 for the CDMA iPhone 4 includes bug fixes and security updates. It appears that Best Buy will not be the best place for you to buy your Apple products in the future, if the latest rumors are to be believed. MacRumors are reporting that Apple are not pleased, in any shape or form at the way Best Buy have been selling their products. iAMDA is now accepting entries for its first ONLINE EXHIBITION. They are calling all artists to submit works for “THE UNSEEN”, an online showcase of mobile digital works that push the boundaries of what we know and have seen in the past–visually and/or creatively. The show is juried by visual artist, Michael James Miller. Miller’s paintings, installations, and prints investigate the continuing relationship between art and technology. He is currently an Associate Professor of Visual Arts at The University of Illinois, Springfield. iPad 2 Launch Rolls Out
In the UK the Apple Store started accepting orders for the their iPad 2’s from 1 am today, despite some claims that eager buyers are having diffiiculty placing their orders, they are also being told they will have to wait 2 to 3 weeks for despatch of the new magical device. Most of Europe and Canada’s Apple stores are also showing this time schedule. Austraila and New Zealand have the longest wait times at 3 to 4 weeks. We know that’s because the iPad 2’s do not officially go on sale until tomorrow, 25th March, in the UK and 24 other countries but at least you can window shop for now. Which one will you choose.
