Fifth Generation iPad To Launch In September 2013

2013-07-08 / Comments Off on Fifth Generation iPad To Launch In September 2013

Leaked schematics have suggested the new iPad will also be thinner than its predecessor, while well-connected analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities has said the device will be 25 percent lighter’. Apple are said to still be debating whether to add a retina screen…

    Streets Ahead Interview: Stefanie LePape

    2013-07-04 / 7 Comments

This week we are pleased to feature Stefanie LePape in our “Streets Ahead” interview segment. Stefanie is also known as “Sanikdote” and “SLP” via Backspaces, Flickr and EyeEm and you can find the links to her accounts below. We first learned of Stefanie’s work over on Backspaces… and have been following her ever since. If you’re familiar with this artist, you will know that she’s the first to admit (and joke) about having Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). However, in her case, we think this condition “adds” to her artistic perspectives and vision in the most remarkable (and beautiful) way. She is a photographer with a painting background. Stefanie connects to…

A Happy Accident? You Decide – iPad Cover

    2013-05-16 / 4 Comments

The colors that Apple provide for their magnetic smart iPad covers are quite decent to most of us, red, blue, green, black etc but Simeon an iOS app developer fancied a tanned leather look that he hoped as it aged would look better. So, he picked up the leather version but he discovered that actually, the more he used it, the less it aged in the way he wanted. So he took matters into his own hands and tanned his with his coffee. Not only that he has also written a tutorial about it. Take a look at this link.

Xtrafolio – Professional iPad Photo Portfolio Tutorial – Getting Started

    2013-05-03 / 2 Comments

I have had this app on my iPad ever since it came out feeling it would give me the presentation tool that I wanted to use with my iPad. And…I will have to admit that I was immediately intimated by its interface and kept putting off using it. So…when The AppWhisperer asked me to do a series of tutorials on this fine app, I agreed realizing that this was what I need to do to “get over it” and start using the power of Xtrafolio. The plan is to give you a tutorial series showing you how to set it up and then dig into all the features that make…
