    This is a new iPhoneography app that has just arrived on the app store and first impressions look good, although 

for now logging in via Facebook is required for creating kinos and this may not appeal to everyone. Kinotopic allows you to make still photographs in which a minor and repeated movement action occurs. They are very similar to the moving images in newspapers from a certain wizard themed series of movies. 

Some people call them cinemagraphs, we call them kinos.
