Cohen is a respected artist and has been granted full access to our account to publish mobile photography and art images highlighting her own stunning work as well as yours. Cohen is a psychoanalyst as well as a photographer and we feel she is the right person to kick off this new and exciting area for us. Mobile Photography / Videography – App of the Day – MAVIS – Pro Camera – and Giveaway
MAVIS is a very professional app for filmmaking and broadcasting with an iPhone. It provides professional level filming tools including focus peaking, waveform monitor, vectorscope, false color and zebras. It gives you audio controls, audio metering, custom resolutions, frame-rates and recordings formats. It also brings a natural interface to give you full flexible manual control while shooting. It has been updated today and the developers tell me, this is their biggest update, ever. They explain that they have completely rebuilt MAVIS from the ground up. Mobile Photography – Silent Auction – Very Important
I was so saddened to read yesterday a post by a very respected mobile photographer and artist – Armineh Hovanesian about one of her friends who tragically died, attempting to rescue her friend from drowning in the Caspian Sea. Hovaneisan describes her friend, Vane, as “young and extremely talented, with a big heart, full of courage, even to the very last minutes of her life”. To honor her memory, with the help of talented artists and volunteers, Hovaneisan is hosting a silent auction at the Bridge of Health’s Glow Gala.
