Apple Will Price Match iPhone Discounts From Other Retailers
Well, this is unexpected, after all we are talking Apple here but according to AppleInsider today, ‘Apple has instructed its retail stores to match the iPhone discounts being offered by major retailers including AT&T, Best Buy, Radio Shack, Target, Sprint and Verizon when customers present with competitive offers’. Apple currently sells the iPhone 4 and 4S at $49.01 more than many retailers but with this price matching now in force, it means you can pick up an 8GB iPhone 4 for only $49.99 and the iPhone 4S now starts at $149 for the 16GB model, that’s pretty cool. Androidspin managed to get some images today of the soon to be launched HTC Incredible 2 smartphone and it looks good. It features a 4 inch Super LCD WVGA screen – this is the same screen in the Incredible 1 but it has had a size increase.
