Apple Will Price Match iPhone Discounts From Other Retailers

Well, this is unexpected, after all we are talking Apple here but according to AppleInsider today, ‘Apple has instructed its retail stores to match the iPhone discounts being offered by major retailers including AT&T, Best Buy, Radio Shack, Target, Sprint and Verizon when customers present with competitive offers’.

Apple currently sells the iPhone 4 and 4S at $49.01 more than many retailers but with this price matching now in force, it means you can pick up an 8GB iPhone 4 for only $49.99 and the iPhone 4S now starts at $149 for the 16GB model, that’s pretty cool.

We’re still holding out for the awesome iPhone 5 but if you’re not too bothered about the latest and greatest gear, then head over to the Apple Store and start making some savings ;)
