Instagram TAKEOVER with Ocean Morisset @oceanstide – Days 4 – 7 – As He Leaves Us…
For the past week Ocean Morisset – @oceanstide has been publishing three of his images each day to our Instagram feed and it’s been winsome.
I personally asked mobile street photographer, Morisset to take over our Instagram account for seven days because he’s distinguished himself through sheer range. Morisset’s photography is never staged and I would venture, each image is captured in an instant. Perfectly balanced compositions are undoubtedly Morisset’s greatest strength and perhaps what I find most remarkable is the ability, he has, to establish immediate connections with his subjects, no matter how transient the encounter. Morisset’s street photography is as far away from clinical cold street photography as it is to fine art portraiture. There’s a sensitivity here, compassion for his subjects and deep trust in his own instincts. He gifts the viewer the freedom to imagine and interpret the development of his suggested stories.
