APPArt – Creative Tutorial – One Photo – One App by Bobbi McMurry – TheAppWhisperer
We’re delighted to publish this fascinating tutorial by our new Columnist to our APPart Column Bobbi McMurry. In this demonstration, Bobbi explains how to create a fabulous piece of art using only one app to one photograph, don’t miss this. Over to you Bobbi (foreword by Joanne Carter). “This piece was for a Facebook challenge in which you create an image using only one photo and one app. This was a good exercise for me as I usually use a multitude of images and at least three apps. I also thought this would be a good image to do a tutorial with, due to its simplicity”.

Fabulous Film at Sundance Film Festival Shot using iPhone 5s and FiLMiC Pro App
This is fabulous and is exactly why we promote mobile movies within our dedicated Column on TheAppWhisperer, edited by Donna Donato. The Sundance Film Festival is known for showcasing more experimental films, but none more so than transgender prostitute movie Tangerine, shot almost entirely with the iPhone 5S. Sean Baker’s comedy drama follows a trans woman on a Christmas Eve hunt for the Hollywood pimp who left her heartbroken. But while the film itself is surprising and fascinating, so are the means with which it was made. Although many amateur films have used iPhone cameras, Tangerine is believed to be the first Sundance movie shot in full with an Apple…

Mobile Movies Showcase – Week 49 – by Donna Donato
Welcome back to the forty-ninth article in the column, Mobile Movies. We at TheAppWhisperer have been inspired by the Flickr upgrade of 1 Terabyte of storage for everyone and have wanted to launch a mobile movie section for some time. Now seems to be perfect, the new Flickr upgrade will allow for a full three minutes of 1080p HD quality video per single film and you can have as many as you have storage space for. Each week I (you can find me on Flickr here) will curate the movie uploads to our new Flickr group MobileMoviesTheAppWhisperer – I will view all the videos uploaded and comment on the ones selected. ”The internet has created…

APPart – Bobbi McMurry New Columnist – Joins The Team – TheAppWhisperer
We are delighted to welcome Bobbi McMurry as a new Columnist to theappwhisperer.com. Bobbi will head up the APPart Column, previously run by the brilliant Mel Harrison. Mel paved the way in creating a sensational column in APPart, with How To’s/Tips and wonderful thought provoking articles, sadly (to us) due to personal reasons she can no longer commit the time that is needed to continue its development. We are extremely pleased that Bobbi McMurry has accepted our invitation to run this column, we have admired her art for a long time. She is hugely talented and has some great ideas and we will incorporate those and bring you fabulous mobile…
