ExoLens PRO with Optics by ZEISS – Accessory Lenses Now Also Compatible with iPhone 7 Family
The three accessory lenses with the new family name ExoLens®1 PRO with Optics by ZEISS are now also compatible with the iPhone®2 7 family. The new Edge bracket with six device-specific inlays for the iPhone® 6 and iPhone® 7 families will be available at camera specialty stores starting at the end of January 2017. Mobile Photography – Moment Confirms Their Lenses ‘Tentatively’ Work with New iPhone 7
Moment openly admit that they were ‘more than a little bit worried’ that there lenses would not work with the new Apple iPhone 7. Following testing they have now confirmed that their lenses do, at least ‘tentatively’ work, which is great news as Apple have changed the sensor, lens and aperture combinations in the iPhone 7. Moment still have additional testing to do with their lenses and the iPhone 7 though, they need to validate image quality and work out how to modify their exisiting mounting plate design to work with the iPhone 7. DxO to Update One App Software Bringing Apple Watch Support and More
DxO announced yesterday (24 November 2015) a new update to their app software for the DxO One, designed to be paired with an Apple iPhone (it can function as a stand-alone camera, albeit without a viewfinder). Version 1.2, which we understand is due out in December 2015, will introduce new camera controls including a continuous shooting mode, access to advanced capture parameters and photo information with a simple swipe and one-tap access to hyperfocal distance in manual focus mode, as well as the ability to reposition the magnification loupe for critical focusing.
