Mobile Photography / Art Competition – MIRA Mobile Prize 2020 – Open for Entries
I am so proud to be a member of this esteemed mobile photography and art annual competition alongside, Andrea Bigiarini, Gina Costa, Giulia Baita, Luis Octavio Costa and Dan Berman. Many thanks to Manuela Matos Monteiro for inviting me. There six categories to enter in this competition and each artist may submit a total of three mobile images, per category. These include: Landscape, Portrait, Daily Life, Architecture, Minimal and Digital Art. This is a free to enter competition. Apple reveals the best Night mode photos shot on iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro Max
iPhone photographers around the world answered the call to participate in the Night mode photo challenge, sharing their captivating Night mode images shot on iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. A curated panel of judges selected six winning photos from thousands of submissions worldwide. The winning images will be featured in a gallery on apple.com and Apple Instagram (@apple) and will appear globally on billboards. 2020 Apple iPhone Night Mode Challenge – Open for Entries
Apple is starting the new year by celebrating more captivating ways to shoot on iPhone with an all-new Night mode photo challenge. Users are invited to share their impressive Night mode images captured with iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. Beginning today through January 29, Apple is in search of the most stunning Night mode shots from users around the world. MIRA Mobile Prize 2019 – 7th Edition – Competition Results
I am delighted to congratulate all the participants and winners in this years MIRA Mobile Prize. I was fortunate once again to be a member of this jury along with, Andrea Bigiarini, Dan Berman, Gina Costa, Giulia Baita and Luis Octavio Costa and I have been so impressed with all the entries, each year the standard gets higher and higher. From five thousand images, to one overall winning image, one overall landscape winner and the best rated Portuguese winner. Apple Shot on iPhone Challenge – The 2019 Winners – Announced
iPhone photographers around the world shared their best photos for Apple’s Shot on iPhone Challenge, capturing remarkable moments with the world’s most popular camera. The 10 selected winners will be featured on billboards in select cities, in Apple retail stores and online. The winning shots came from a range of models, from iPhone XS Max to iPhone 7, showcasing the quality of cameras across the line. Sony World Photography Awards reveal stunning shortlist for 2019 Open and Youth competitions
The World Photography Organisation today reveals the shortlisted photographers for the Open and Youth competitions of the 2019 Sony World Photography Awards, recognising the world’s best single images from 2018. As one of the world’s largest and most prestigious global photography competitions, the Awards annually celebrate and promote the best contemporary photography from the past year across a wide variety of photographic genres. Over 326,000 entries were submitted across the four competitions of the 2019 Awards, the highest ever number to date. Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year – Deadline Approaching – Mobile Photography Category
The Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year competition is one of my annual highlights and this year, I am on the advisory panel of judges as well as being a media partner. There are many categories to enter but of course, hands down, our favourite is the Mobile Photography section. It costs £6 to enter, per image and £2 of that will go to Action Against Hunger (registered charity).
