We are so pleased to announce the winners of our recent Pencil by Fiftythree stylus competition – if you missed the details of that, please go here. Mobile Camera Club – Opening of the first 3.0 gallery Paris, March 6 2014
We are very excited to bring you news that the Mobile Camera Club gallery will host the second edition of Mobile Photo Paris from March 6 to March 29 2014. One exhibition, two openings: Thursday, March 6 2014 from 6 PM Sunday, March 16 from 3 PM Located in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, Mobile Camera Club will exhibit mobile photography in all its forms. Mobile Masters Competition – Deadline Extented
The deadline has been extented for this fabulous mobile photography competition. You now have until March 9, 2014 to enter. The aim of this second edition of the Mobile Masters interactive eBook is to showcase Mobile Photography as a distinctive and expanding new movement in the history of the art form. Competition – Head On ‘Mobile’ Awards 2014 – Open For Entries!
The Head On Awards 2014 are now open for entries and this year they have included a special mobile photography category – entitled ‘Head on Mobile’. You may submit up to 3 works in each category – Portrait, Landscape, Mobile, Multimedia (total of 12 entries). Prizes will be awarded for the best 3 images. The selection of images will be done anonymously based on the power of the photograph rather than the celebrity of the subject or photographer. Click London – Mobile Photography Workshop Tonight!
We’re delighted to publish news of a wonderful new iniative by the team at Click London. Vivi and Dilshad are both Contributors/Columnists to theappwhisperer and they’ve teamed up to present a Mobile Photography Workshop tonight – February 20, 2014 at Marhba, 26 Porchester Road, London, W2 6ES. This session will run between 1800-2100 hrs. It’s a small group, conisting of a maximum of seven students to ensure everyone receives a good three hours of informal teaching. Getty Images – Creative Grants Offered With Additional Award of $20k for Work that Focuses on Empowering Women and Girls

Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition with Mobile Category – Deadline Approaching
As avid followers of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition for more years than we care to remember we were delighted to learn last year that the organisers have added a mobile category for smartphone photographers aged 17 and under, called WILD-I, hopefully this will be rolled out within the adult category too at a later stage, we mentioned it here.
