It’s very hard for me to comprehend that there is a need for this effort; that our neighbours in the Ukraine are in such dire straights that they require the help of nations and of individuals, like you and me. Photographer Don Komarechka who lives near Varna, Bulgaria, has been making daily trips to the Ukrainian Refugee Center in Varna delivering food and other critical supplies. Seeing Don’s example, I asked what I could do to make a difference. Mobile Art Saturday Poetry – Untethered by Allison Joseph
This weeks Saturday Poetry, matched with mobile photography/art is entitled ‘Untethered’ by Allison Joseph. She explains what this poem is about ‘Untethered is both a personal and a communal poem. I am recently widowed, so am feeling highly untethered from my previous married life. But the poem is also concerned with the isolation were all feeling because of the COVID-19 situation.
