Steve Wozniak Segway and Apple extraordinaire was interviewed by Reuters in Brighton, England this week. Wozniak was attending the SQLbits conference to present awards to winners as his position as Chief Scientist for storage company Fusion-io affords. He was quoted as saying ‘I’d consider it, yeah’, when asked if he would consider returning to an active role within Apple if asked, according to AppleInsider. Amazon.com Soliciting iOS Developers To Create Apps For Kindle
Apple Insider is reporting that Amazon.com are actively soliciting iOS developers to create apps for their Kindle device. Specifically, it seems they are seeking out educational app developers. We all know how good the Kindle is as an e-reader and it has become very popular within the educational environments, so in many ways it is no surprise to us that Amazon.com’s move will be successful. They are not trying to compete with Apple and the iPad and this is a good thing. AT&T Will Become Largest US iPhone Mobile Carrier
AT&T has made a deal with Deutsche Telekom to buy out T-Mobile that will make it the largest US iPhone carrier by contributing an additional 33.7 million T-Mobile subscribers to AT&T’s network that currently has around 99 million subscribers.
