iPad App Store Updated With Search Features
This is something we have been hoping for for a while now. Apple has updated the app store search facility for your iPad. Whilst on your iPad just head over to the App Store and trying searching for a specific app. You will now five filters, these include Category, Release Date, Customer Rating, Price and Device. As of yet it does not work with the iPhone but this is only a matter of time until Apple implement this new update across the board, surely.

The Daily iPad Newspaper Launch Event February 2nd, 2011
With the excitement building News Corporation and Apple have set the launch date for The Daily to February 2nd, 2011. As you can see from the invitation below, Rupert Murdoch will be there along with Apple’s Eddy Cue, he’s stepping in for Steve Jobs, as we know is on medical leave. The event will start at 11:00 am EST at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum at 1071 Fifth Avenue. The Daily will cost $0.99 per week, it’s going to be interesting how this one pans out and whether consumers are prepared to pay for exclusive journalism.
