Huge congratulations to our APPart Color of the Day with Pantone Daily Challenge winner Kim Martino. Yesterday’s Color of the Day was Vista Blue (15-3930) with the adjectives and nouns, Funny, Unusual and Restless. We’re delighted to publish this fascinating tutorial by our new Columnist to our APPart Column Bobbi McMurry. In this demonstration, Bobbi explains how to create a fabulous piece of art using only one app to one photograph, don’t miss this. Over to you Bobbi (foreword by Joanne Carter). “This piece was for a Facebook challenge in which you create an image using only one photo and one app. This was a good exercise for me as I usually use a multitude of images and at least three apps. I also thought this would be a good image to do a tutorial with, due to its simplicity”.

We are delighted to welcome Bobbi McMurry as a new Columnist to theappwhisperer.com. Bobbi will head up the APPart Column, previously run by the brilliant Mel Harrison. Grand Flickr Group Showcase of 2014 – TheAppWhisperer – Mobile Photography
We have just completed this epic showcase of The Best Mobile Photography and Art images of 2014. All of these images were in our favourites section of our Mobile Photography & Imagery Flickr Group. We have painstakingly worked our way through over 8,000 favourited images, from an original of over 115,000. No mean feat but by viewing this showcase you are assured of viewing the immense talent within the mobile photography and mobile art community. It is incredibly impressive.
