Camera Awesome takes your photos to the next level by shooting faassst and taking sharper, better-exposed shots. Make your memories come alive with stunning professional effects. 0-Tap sharing on the sites you love. This is a very popular iPhoneography app but it has proved quite controversial due to the high number of in-app purchases despite being billed as a ‘free’ app. Saying that though, it does have a good stack of kit included. This free update fixes a prerecording bug on the iPhone 4. Camera Awesome has also enabled Picasa for cross-posting from SmugMug – Camera Awesome come from the SmugMug stable, after all. A new iPhoneography app has hit the Apple App Store, developed by SmugMug and apparently to ‘awesomize your memories’. Perhaps it will, it looks good from first impressions. This app has gone the in-app purchase way, in that you can pick it up for free but there after you’re expected to shell out. So far there are ten top in-app purchases and up to twenty-nine in total, each retails for $0.99/£0.69. You can download the app here.
