Streets Ahead – Challenge 6 – Frame Within A Frame
Welcome to the showcase for our sixth challenge ‘Frame Within A Frame’. The objective of these challenges is to help us collectively practice and perhaps learn some new techniques. Welcome back to the thirty-sixth article in the column, Mobile Movies. We at TheAppWhisperer have been inspired by the Flickr upgrade of 1 Terabyte of storage for everyone and have wanted to launch a mobile movie section for some time. Now seems to be perfect, the new Flickr upgrade will allow for a full three minutes of 1080p HD quality video per single film and you can have as many as you have storage space for. This week, the Women’s Street Photography Collective (Streets Ahead) is pleased and honored to feature Liz Traynor in our interview segment. I first noticed Liz’s work when I joined the Streets Ahead group on Flickr. Her photographs immediately stood out for me – she has a great eye and ability to capture the narrative. It is fascinating to read the stories behind her photographs and I love that she has a gift for titling her images just right, and often with a sense of humor.
