Video Comparison Between iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S
MacRumors have found a link to a YouTube video showing a side-by-side comparison of the iPhone and iPhone 4S’ video abilities. We wouldn’t call it a scientific professional test by any means and its certainly not how we conduct our lab tests here at theappwhisperer.com but it is still interesting to view. Colors look brighter on the iPhone 5 and the image stabilization (both videos were handheld) looks improved on the 5 too. Take a look and let us know your thoughts… Video

iPhone 5 – You Can Now Buy From Apple Online
Pre-ordering has now finished for the iPhone 5 as today is delivery day for many who did manage to get their order in early. If you didn’t succeed with that, don’t worry. Just head over to the online Apple store and place an order right now. In the US and also the UK now shipping has slipped to 3-4 weeks and this is pretty much the same with all carriers too. We’re just received confirmation from Apple that our iPhone 5 is enroute and will be delivered on Friday 21 September, as we expected and hoped. We placed our order as soon as we could on Friday 14 September before the delivery dates started shifting. We hope you will also be receiving yours, if you’ve decided to upgrade on Friday too. If not, don’t worry, we’ll let you know if it’s really worth it once we take a look at ours in the flesh.

iPhone 5 Pre-Orders Slip To 3-4 Weeks In The US
Guess it was envitable but pre-orders for the iPhone 5 are now set at 3-4 weeks in the US Apple Stores. In the UK it still says 2-3 weeks. On Monday Apple annouced that they took over 2 million pre-orders in the first 24 hours. We placed our orders as soon as we could when they went live and so far we are still seeing a ‘delivers on 9/21 on our online order form. Fingers crossed, we’ll let you know.

iPhone 5 Ships With 1 GB RAM
MacRumors are reporting that Apple’s brand spanking new iPhone 5 is packed with 1 GB RAM. We know the iPhone 5 is packed with an awesome A6 processor and we’ve been anticipating a RAM increase for some time. Both the iPhone 4 and 4S run with 513 MB RAM but 1 GB will speed up performance with applications and documents and omit a whole lot of lagging and gives app developers a lot more memory to work with.

Carphone Warehouse have just published details of their Apple iPhone 5 Pre-order deals. Unfortunately, at the moment you can only pre-order the 16GB model in black but the deals look good. They have even included 02’s details, and they haven’t even updated their own site with this information yet. O2 are offering the iPhone 5 for FREE on a 24 month Unlimited contract with unlimited texts and minutes plus 1GB data for £46 per month.
