We have just published this weeks’ Flickr Group Showcase – representing the very best of mobile photography from around the world that has been uploaded to our Flickr group. This week we lead with a fabulous image by Thomas Toft entitled ‘Soul meets body’, it’s full of meaning and very powerful. This leads us into some fabulous artistry and emotional conceptual photography and in turn this leads us through to incredible portraiture and self portraiture. Oh this weeks’ Flickr Group Showcase is so full of outstanding photography, it’s hard to believe that the bar can rise higher each and every week but it does! This week we lead with a very emotionally image by Mainstream withexplicitdreams / Ioannis Sidiropoulos full of anguish, this leads us to more highly-charged images in a similar vein; we then feel the power of Louise Fryer’s ‘Survival’ image as we move further into sensual and into street photography. We are utterly delighted to publish this weeks’ Flickr Group Showcase, so many of you have been completely inspired! Your work is exceptional, eminent and phenomenal. We lead this week with a wonderful image by lorenka61 – this image really struck a chord with me. It reminded me of Mya Angelou’s first book ‘I know why the caged bird sings’ and of course, unfortunately she passed on this week, so I thought this would make a wonderful lead image. Wow! We have just produced our latest Flickr Group Showcase, the first one for May 2014 and it is incredible! It’s so full of meaning and atmosphere this week, we begin with a fabulous image entitled ‘Glow’ by Bruno Ribeiro and that leads us into incredible imagery, with many of the trials and tribulations of life/relationships played out this week.
