Streets Ahead – Eighteenth Edition
Welcome to the Eighteenth edition of “Streets Ahead,” a weekly column dedicated to women mobile street photographers. Please be aware that this week’s showcase is a little longer than usual. Why? Well, many of us associated with The App Whisperer were busy socializing in a London meet-up last week… so, unfortunately, some work didn’t get done. Anyway, this week’s column is a combination of the past weeks . And believe me when I say that this was an incredibly difficult showcase to curate… because the quality of images that are submitted to he Flickr Group are absolutely gorgeous.,, and very inspiring! If you are not a member of our Facebook…

Streets Ahead – Seventeenth Edition
Welcome to the seventeenth edition of “Streets Ahead,” a weekly column dedicated to women mobile street photographers. Each week we review and curate work that was submitted to our Flickr Group. In addition to creating a showcase video which features a sampling of submitted work, we also highlight a few images that caught our attention… offering some thoughtful commentary about technique, composition, and subject matter. (Sorry guys, 🙂 ) And since we are a Mobile Photography Collective, …

iPhotographer Magazine – What’s It All About?
A brand new iOS mobile photography magazine has landed in the Apple Newsstand (there’s been a few recently) and is ready for download. Coming from the print industry as Editor of many photography titles, with years of experience of both National and International publications, of course this was of particular interest to me. I viewed the Preview issue of this monthly title. The preview issue is a sample and smaller version of the regular monthly issue and it includes content…
