Mobile Art Course – “Painting With Light : Creative Long Exposure Mobile Photography” by Nicki Fitz-Gerald
I am delighted to promote this brand new mobile art course created by internationally acclaimed artist, author, and instructor Nicki Fitz-Gerald. This course offers a way to create unique mobile art images that allow light to be recorded, slowly, over a period of time as a still image. The results are quite different from traditional long exposure photography. Nicki begins with the most popular (and familiar) effects, but then quickly moves on to the more creative side of long exposure photography … showing us how the very nature of long exposure of photography on an iPhone can be very different from what can be achieved on a DLSR camera. Indeed,…

Mobile Photography & Art – Tickle Your Fancy #61
Welcome back to our sixty first post in our Tickle Your Fancy section. ‘Tickle Your Fancy’ includes a round-up of between seven to eight links to articles from around TheAppWhisperer over the past few week, that you may by chance have missed. Please note, I’ve been a little unwell this week, so have not published as much as I wanted to. Mobile Photography – Portrait of an Artist – Twenty Eighth Video Showcase
We are delighted to present our 28th Portrait of an Artist Video Showcase. Ile Mont our highly talented Editor for our Portrait of an Artist Column has curated the another astonishing showcase. (Foreword by Joanne Carter) If you are not a member of our Facebook group we highly recommend that you join us! This is our space for sharing newsworthy information and conducting discussions (what, when, where, why and…

Streets Ahead – Challenge 7 – Steal a Moment
Welcome to the showcase for our seventh challenge ‘Steal a Moment’. The objective of these challenges is to help us collectively practice and perhaps learn some new techniques. Each challenge will be based either on a shooting technique or perhaps a theme. We announced this challenge within our Streets Ahead Facebook group and it features fabulous mobile photography taken on the street using frames such as windows and doorways to create a ‘frame within a frame’. We would like Streets Ahead to be and interactive group, and for members to try to participate in the challenges. If you are a woman street photographer, please join our growing community (see links…
