BBC iPlayer App Now Available In The Android Market
Hopefully, and judging from our stats a whole bunch of readers have been avidily reading our BBC iPlayer iPad app review, which is great news. When that app was released in the App Store this morning there was still no sign of an Android version, but now there is. So, if you’re lucky enough to have a Samsung Galaxy Tab you could start watching this on your 7inch tablet, or any Android cell phone will sufffice right now. The much talked about 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tablet hits UK shops today. It runs Android 2.2 and according to reports, it does this very well and impressively. It’s available at various retailers and has a range of prices linked to a variety of dataplans. At Carphone Warehouse for example you can either pay £499.99 with a £10 pay monthly plan on Talk Mobile and that includes 1GB of data.
