Showering of Love – Appstracts Mobile Art Group with Roger Guetta

Recently the Mobile Art Facebook Group Appstracts hosted on Facebook and run by one of our very own Columnists Roger Guetta, hosted a very touching mobile art challenge. The Challenge was for all the artists within this group to show their love for me by creating a unique image. The results are true testament to the tenderness and ability of our community of mobile artists and photographers and also the love story that we all share. The meticulous detail and thought that each and every mobile artist has put into this challenge sweeps me away. Your love beseeches me to revere your mobile art that awakens, sustains and nourishes all of us.

Guetta has created a mesmerising and very moving video of all the images and I have published this below. I viewed this many times yesterday and cried, a lot. So, much so that I was unable to create this post then. You have all touched my heart in a way that is so powerful. I am overcome by huge waves of happiness.

Thank you all to of course, dear Roger Guetta and to all the incredible artists that contributed to this magnificent outpouring of love, to me:  Jo Sullivan, Sukru Mehmet Omur, Grace Rachow, Clarisse Debout, Stephanie Paloni Chupein, Bruce Barrett, Jeanine Laskar, Kate Zari Roberts, Sammi Gravich, Antonio Mojica, Susan Rennie, Maura Shine, Christine O Sobczak, Juta Jazz, Elaine Taylor, Catherine Schell Caddigan, Gail Dohrmann, Diana Nicholette Jeon, Lee Atwell, Andrea Lewis, Violet Martins, Leon Williams, Giulia Baita, Sylvie Prevot, Clint Cline, Maura Shine, Claudia Contreras, Oleg Akilov, Andrea Lewis, Ile Mont, Karen Axelrad, Leon Williams, Adrienne Parks, Bruce Barrett, Kristina Růčková, Catherine Schell Caddigan, Liliana Schwitter, Barbara Nebel, Carol Wiebe, Marie Matthews.

I really hope I have not missed anyone out, please let me know if I have and I will add them immediately.

The Words

These are the words from all of the images as curated by Roger Guetta:

"For: Joanne Carter

With a few words from the membership in no particular order:

(I thought to put the words without attributing the source so it would flow a bit better)

Look through the posts for who said what…"

They call me the space cowboy……..

Sweet Dreamer

sometimes our spirals go askew ..

and we clumsily climb anyways

The journey into self and out to community

“A trusting heart will follow, only those who truly follow their heart.”

I have heard what the talkers were talking, the talk of the beginning and the end;

But I do not talk of the beginning or the end.

There was never any more inception than there is now,Nor any more youth or age than there is now;And will never beany more perfection than there is now,Nor any more heaven or hell than there is now.

Urge, and urge, and urge;

Always the procreant urge of the world.

"It is hard going to the door

cut so small in the wall where

the vision which echoes loneliness brings a scent of wild flowers in a wood."

The sea and sky fold as one.

To infinity and beyond.

Without a sense of caring, there can be no sense of community.

“The reason why the universe is eternal is that it does not live for itself; it gives life to others as it transforms.”

For inspirative, beautiful soul!

You’re a shooting star I see

Life is a Bit abstract

"Creativity is contagious, pass it on.”

Find light in the beautiful sea.

Shine bright like a diamond.

Art attracts us only by what it reveals of our most secret self.

When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy.”

There are two ways of spreading the light; to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it."

    The digital community is a generous and supportive one. Appstracts and TheAppWhisperer are shining examples of such qualities. People from many different backgrounds and skill levels have a great deal of fun and are happy to share–not only what they have created, but how!
