Mobile Photography & Art Flickr Group Showcase – 22 October 2017

“Be wild, that is how to clear the river. The river does not flow in polluted, we manage that. The river does not dry up, we block it. If we want to allow it its freedom, we have to allow our ideational lives to be let loose, to stream, letting anything come, initially censoring nothing. That is creative life.” This is a passage from a wonderful book, that you may have already read, it’s not new. It’s entitled “Women who run with the Wolves: Contacting the Power of the Wild Woman”, written and thoroughly researched by Dr Clarissa Pinkola Estes. This book was recommend to me by an incredibly talented Vogue photographer that I have been interviewing this week. It’s a precious gift to all us and is completely timeless. Each one of the mobile photographers and artists that we have featured this week dare us to linger, longer. Each image is so unique the artists make it look easy and yet, it’s anything but. What is easy, to see, is that each artist turns their fear into creative freedom and that is their gift to us and we are eternally grateful. Enjoy

If you would like your work to be considered for entry into our weekly Mobile Photography and Art Flickr Group, please submit it to our dedicated group, here.
