Samsung Galaxy S9+ Review: Best Samsung Camera To Date
Introduction The Samsung Galaxy S9+ or plus reviewed here is the larger of the two Galaxy S series smartphone models but it also distinguishes itself by being the more-photo-oriented of the two by inclusion of dual rear camera modules. The smaller, more pocket-friendly of the two, the S9 with its 5.8-in screen only has one rear wide-angle camera and so misses out on the telephoto camera and the background blurring options. In that regard, the S9+ sits alongside the company’s slightly larger still Note 9 with its 6.4-inch screen which features an almost identical rear dual camera set-up. As a result of the high-end dual camera feature, both the S9+…

Fully Featured Photoshop CC coming to the iPad
At Adobe MAX 2018 in Los Angeles, Adobe previewed Photoshop CC on iPad, however, we were granted a preview in early October, along with other members of the press. Adobe were keen to stress this is not a version, it has all the signature features including layers with no practical limit. We were shown an example with 200 layers. It is, of course, no real secret that Adobe has been working on a fully featured version of Photoshop for a while, a scaled back version for mobile devices has been available for sometime. However, while Photoshop CC on iPad shares the same underlying code as the desktop version, the interface has…

Pixelmator 2.1 Cherry Review
Pixelmator 2.1.1 Cherry Review – Mac App Store Available exclusively through the Mac App Store Pixelmator 2.0 is a graphics and image editor for Mac OSX and has a number of attractive features, including an impressive array of retouching and paint tools, and sleek interface. Packing a raft of effects filters, paint and retouching tools it is a well-specified utility. That said, it’s not a full blown application to rival Photoshop and lacks some fundamentals such as layer styles and adjustment layers (effects filters largely take care of the latter) but there’s a huge demand for a user-friendly yet nimble application that can cope with a number of day-to-day…

Schneider Optics iPro 2x Tele Lens – Expert Review
Schneider Optics is a name that will likely be familiar to most professional photographers and enthusiasts alike. They’re the US subsidiary of Schneider-Kreuznach, the German optical company and makers of high-quality DSLR and large format photographic lenses, and are on a par with Carl Zeiss and Leica. Schneider-Kreuznach is also the manufacturer of the popular B+W Filter range. At the beginning of the new millennium, Schneider Optics bought Century Precision Optics, a North Hollywood based manufacturer of film and video lens accessories. The company specializes in lens converters and mount adaptors for both consumer DV cameras and broadcast lenses and so it’s not really surprising that this brand name is…
