A new exhibition opening in San Francisco next month is gaining momentum. Entitled 100 portraits, 50 photographers, 1 camera, the show is produced in conjunction with The NWBLK. This show is said to feature the work of fifty of the worlds most talented mobile photographers – I am quite sure we could add a lot more to this list. Rumour – New Apple iPads To Be Announced October 21
Well, that’s the rumour and one that we’re really hoping turns true. It’s a pattern that Apple have repeated for the past few years, last October Apple unveiled the iPad Air and iPad Mini with Retina display. This October we’re hoping for new iPad models with possibly the A8 processor that they’ve added to the new iPhone’s, there are also rumours of a new larger iPad Air model expecting to be announced. Cinamatic Mobile Competition with Los Cabos Tourism Board!
Buoyed from surpassing their first one million user mark, Cinamatic now have the facilities in place to partner with brands to create beautiful content. To kick off the next phase, the innovative mobile video creator is launching an In-App contest partnering with the Los Cabos Tourism Board. This is the first major partnership for Cinamatic. MIRA 2014 Mobile Photography Exhibition This Weekend!
This weekend is a truly fabulous one to bask in the glory of mobile photography and art. Not only is there the NEM Kansas City 2014 Mobile Photography Exhibition, as mentioned here but also there’s the MIRA Mobile Photography Exhibition in Porto, Portugal, opening 6 September 2014 at 1600 hrs. Olloclip, Hipstamatic, Cinamatic – Competition Winners Announced
We are delighted to announce the winner of our recent Olloclip, Hipstamatic and Cinamatic video competition. The requirements were to create a short video using the new Cinamatic app by Hipstamatic and post these to our new Flickr group, celebrating our new Olloclip Microsite. MIRA Mobile Prize – Overall Winner Announced!
We are delighted to announce the overall winner for the MIRA Mobile Prize is Janine Graf with her rhino image with blue balloons. This photograph was chosen from the shortlist of fifty that myself and other members of the Jury had selected. It reflects high evaluation; consistent work; and was also the preferred image of the curator and the representant of the municipality for the MIRA competition. Many many congratulations Janine.
