Apple Send Out Invites To March 2, 2011 – ‘iPad 2’ Event
Apple have just sent out media invitations to their, what we all expect to be at least and judging from the invitation, second generation iPad event. The event will take place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. We will be covering the event live, so make sure you check back for that.

Apple iPad 2 Launch Event Set For 03/02/11
All Things Digital have just reporetd that Apple will hold its eagerly awaited product event on March 2. We are expecting them to announce the iPad 2 at this time. Presumably, although unconfirmed, it will take place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco but we don’t know yet whether Steve Jobs will be there – poor guy, let’s hope so.
Apple Employees Asked To Sign NDA Ahead Of New Product Announcement
AppleInsider has just reported that Apple have asked their employees to sign a non-disclosure agreement ahead of ‘an all hands meeting’ expected to be this week and ‘potentially foreshadowing a forthcoming media event’. Well what could this be, possibly iWorks ’11 or iPad 2? We know the MacBook Pros are due out Thursday this week – any tips/thoughts let us know.
Here Comes The White iPhone 5 – Oh Yes
Who needs a white iPhone 4 anyway? -What we want now is the white iPhone 5. Despite the fact that consumers have been waiting almost a year to get their hands on a white iPhone 4, according to a report from the Economic Daily News, the white iPhone 4 will hit the shelves before the white iPhone 5 but both will be available this summer. Now, this doesn’t really make sense to us, why would you want to buy a white iPhone 4 over a white iPhone 5 and why would Apple run them alongside after all the hype? No we can’t see it. iPad 2 Not Expected Until Summer 2011 – Rumor
Businessweek are reporting today that according to a research note from Yuanta Securities Co, Apple are suffering with ‘production bottlenecks’ at their manufacturing plant, Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. Accordingly, this may well delay the launch of the iPad 2 to June 2011. Apparently, Apple made some changes to the iPad 2’s design just before the Chinese New Year and this has held things up. We’re disappointed, we can’t wait to get our hands on the new thinner, lighter, faster magical device. With the imminent launch of the Apple iPad 2, both T-Mobile and Orange have slashed the cost of the Apple iPad in the UK to clear stock. Orange have the 16 GB iPad with WiFi + 3G for £99 instead of £220 on their 24 pay monthly contract, which is £27 a month for new Orange customers, or £25 for exisiting customers.
