We’ve just received confirmation that our shiny new third generation iPads are enroute, ie shipped. What this means is that they have left China and are on schedule for the previously agreed shipping date of March 16, 2012. New Apple iPad Delivery Dates Delayed
Looks like demand is beginning to outstrip supply as Apple extend the delivery dates on the latest third generation iPad and Apple TV. Earlier today when we placed our orders for the new iPad we were given a delivery date of March 16. Now it seems all new orders are looking at a delivery date of two to three weeks, which is somewhat vague but could be as far away as 29 March, oops. This is the case for the UK Apple store.
