As the AppArt editor, I’ve made so many special and talented friends, but I’ve only had the pleasure of meeting a few live and in-person. I very recently had the pleasure of meeting Diana Nicholette Jeon who was vacationing in Phoenix and we became fast friends and one whose artwork I greatly admire. mDAC 2015 Mobile Photography & Art Winners Announced
Many congratulations to all the winners of the mDAC 2015 Mobile Photography and Art Category. I was the sole juror for this section and the high level of work submitted made my job ever more challenging and more wonderful. Mobile Photography/Art Competition – FIPA/TheAppWhisperer Special Award – ‘Gates of Paradise’ – How To Enter
I’m very excited about this wonderful competition, the NEM Florence International Photography Awards (FIPA), of which TheAppWhisperer has been very generously given a special section. The theme is ‘Gates of Paradise’ I selected this theme to honour the gilded bronze doors of Florence’s Baptistery of San Giovanni and as inspiration for all mobile artists to create a magnificent work of art; not depicting the literal ‘Gates of Paradise’ but to portray, what the ‘Gates of Paradise’ represent to you. Grand Flickr Group Showcase of 2014 – TheAppWhisperer – Mobile Photography
We have just completed this epic showcase of The Best Mobile Photography and Art images of 2014. All of these images were in our favourites section of our Mobile Photography & Imagery Flickr Group. We have painstakingly worked our way through over 8,000 favourited images, from an original of over 115,000.
