Apple have announced the release of a version of its popular music creation application, GarageBand, that’s compatible with the iPhone and iPod touch. Logic Pro and Express Updated To Support iPad GarageBand Tunes
Apple has released an update to Logic Pro and Express that supports opening projects created with the GarageBand app for iPad, in addition to other minor bug fixes. The new update, 9.1.4, is available via Software Update or from Apple’s downloads page, comes a week after the company issued a ProKit 7.0 update with broad fixes for its Pro Apps. ProKit is used by Logic Pro, Logic Express and MainStage as well as Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Express, Motion, Soundtrack Pro, DVD Studio Pro, iPhoto, Aperture and iAd Producer. GarageBand At Guitar Center
Beginning May 7, you can visit any Guitar Center location and learn how to record and mix tracks using Mac and GarageBand. Guitar Center will present free “Recording Made Easy” workshops each Saturday from 10-11 a.m. in all of its 216 stores. Four different workshop sessions make it simple for even novice musicians to go from creating basic tracks to recording a finished song in GarageBand.
