iBook – Humans of New York

2013-11-29 / Comments Off on iBook – Humans of New York

If you’re looking for a little ‘downtime’ this weekend, perhaps away from apps for a while, then why not take a look at this outstanding photographic iBook by Brandon Stanton – ‘Humans of New York’? Stanton has a unique technique or some might say ‘gift’. Brandon Stanton is an interesting character, he has no formal journalistic training or photographic…

2012-01-11 / Comments Off on New Apple Invitation For January 19, 2011

Apple has sent out invites today for a press event to be held in New York City next Thursday, January 19, 2011. There have been and still are many rumors circulating as to what Apple will be announcing. The most likely one though is that this event will concentrate on iBooks with education majoring. Steve Jobs was determined to ‘shake up’ the textbook market and perhaps this event will mark the start of that… We’ll be covering this event, so check back for that.

High Resolution Display May Well Be Coming To iPad 2 In Any Case

2011-01-20 / Comments Off on High Resolution Display May Well Be Coming To iPad 2 In Any Case

The rumors are still circulating, will the Apple iPad 2 actually have a higher resolution display or not? Some say no but many are now saying yes. The iBooks 1.1 application is being updated to support the higher resolution of 2048 by 1535 resolution, this is around the same resolution as the 27" Apple Cinema Display. With the iPad 2 expected to ship in late March or early April 2011, it won’t be…
