New Year Resolutions have a long history, the Babylonians pledged to return borrowed objects and repay their debts at the start of each year, while the Romans kicked off January by making a vow to the god Janus (from whom the month takes its name). I must apologise for being quiet on the site from mid week, this week. On Wednesday I was admitted to hospital and underwent some quite comprehensive abdominal surgery. We have just completed this epic showcase of The Best Mobile Photography and Art images of 2014. All of these images were in our favourites section of our Mobile Photography & Imagery Flickr Group. We have painstakingly worked our way through over 8,000 favourited images, from an original of over 115,000. Wow! We have just produced our latest Flickr Group Showcase, the first one for May 2014 and it is incredible! It’s so full of meaning and atmosphere this week, we begin with a fabulous image entitled ‘Glow’ by Bruno Ribeiro and that leads us into incredible imagery, with many of the trials and tribulations of life/relationships played out this week.
