Amazon have just launched a new TV commercial with a sting in its tail. Despite the rumors that the iPad 2 will have a non-reflective screen, like the Kindle. Apple iPad Prices Slashed In The UK
With the imminent launch of the Apple iPad 2, both T-Mobile and Orange have slashed the cost of the Apple iPad in the UK to clear stock. Orange have the 16 GB iPad with WiFi + 3G for £99 instead of £220 on their 24 pay monthly contract, which is £27 a month for new Orange customers, or £25 for exisiting customers. High Resolution Display May Well Be Coming To iPad 2 In Any Case
The rumors are still circulating, will the Apple iPad 2 actually have a higher resolution display or not? Some say no but many are now saying yes. The iBooks 1.1 application is being updated to support the higher resolution of 2048 by 1535 resolution, this is around the same resolution as the 27" Apple Cinema Display. Covert Video of Apple iPad 2 Just Released
This is interesting, we’ve just been sent this ‘covert’ video of the iPad 2 taken at the CES in Las Vegas last week. Although we cannot confirm the authenticity of this video, it is interesting nonetheless and seems to share many of the hallmarks of recent images of the iPad 2 currently filling up the ‘net. iPad 2 To Have Front & Rear Cameras
AppleInsider reports today that the next generation iPad 2 will sport front and rear cameras when it becomes available in early 2011. This all ties in quite nicely with the latest reports on the iPad 2 ‘leaked’ cases. The ‘Crystal Case for iPad 2nd Generation’ has appeared from Chinese accessories manufacturer Shenzhen MacTop Electronics featuring an aperture ready for a rear-facing camera similarly positioned and sized to that found on the iPhone. These ‘rumors’ are going to continue for a while yet as the excitment grows. I for one cannot wait to see the new iPad 2.
