Many of you have already seen our new segment to our APPart column here at TheAppWhisperer, edited by Bobbi McMurry. There’s a great new booklet available from PhotoShelter regarding copyright for photographers. It is free to download and it I am sure many of you will find it very useful to have. There’s an important section that I would like to draw your attention to entitled Registering Copyrights. Whilst we know that copyright is automatic, to ensure you receive the full benefits and protection contained in the copyright laws, it is a good idea to register your photographs with the United States Copyright Office (or the equivalent wherever you reside in the world).
