Jobe creates a compelling and abstract utopia in this series of works for our visualisation interview. Rich in colour, the images are sensuous, drawing us into the illusion of abstraction. Each image collides and rhymes in intensity as they shout out his answers. Fragments of his own body, appear with full force and meaning. There’s almost an obsessional chemistry in Stone’s art, romanticised mythical beings plunged into epic confrontations and transformations with full force. His paintings are powerful, mysterious amalgams of landscapes and unique craggy forms that elicit abstract shapes, symmetrically balancing powerful colour tones. Viewed in epic proportions, Cline’s work evokes an awesome grandness of nature.
