Currently, I am on a personal quest to discover and build my knowledge of human happiness. It is a vast subject and I do not pertain to elude quiet or even loud wisdom on this matter. Reading Matt Haig’s ‘Reasons to Stay Alive’ book has been quite insightful; I read from many different sources each day. We can search and scan for eternal contentment it can become all encompassing and is it really necessary? As I crashed spectacularly to the ground from my mountain bike early this morning, I was reminded of a dear friend talking to me about resilience. Not that I need reminding, I have met with enough adversity in my life to know that this is a psychological trait buried deeply into my psyche.
