New Projects – Our New Form of Artistic Installation aka ‘The Quilt’ Is Ready!
We’re delighted to inform our readers that the quilt that so many of you contributed to, has now been completed. For those of you not aware of this project, it involved mobile artists contributing one image and each one was then carefully included within a large quilt to be displayed at the next gallery show or even Mobile Arts Festival. Today, I have been publishing the tutorials and demonstrations that we presented at The Photography Show on 24 March 2015 (Seminar 3, Day 2). We spent 20 minutes presenting those and for the final 10 minutes I played the video showcase of the curated entries to our special Flickr Group set up for the show. Huge congratulations to our APPart Color of the Day with Pantone Daily Challenge winner. Yesterday’s Color of the Day was Violet Quarts (18-1720) with the adjectives and nouns, ‘Endearing, Talented and Fair’. We have just completed this epic showcase of The Best Mobile Photography and Art images of 2014. All of these images were in our favourites section of our Mobile Photography & Imagery Flickr Group. We have painstakingly worked our way through over 8,000 favourited images, from an original of over 115,000.
