Mobile Photography and Art – Flickr Group Showcase – 30 August 2015 – TheAppWhisperer
Wow! This weeks’ mobile photography and art Flickr Group Showcase is incredible. Following my curation and creation of the showcase, I watched it several times. It reminded me of a letter by Fancesca Woodman to Giuseppe Gallo in 1980. Woodman was recovering from prolonged sickness and she read ‘the complete works of Proust’ which thoroughly inspired her. She said “I’d really like to create a work of art like that, rooted in and linked to everyday life, but addressing questions of great scope”. This beautiful showcase offers immense scope. FIPA Mobile Photography Most Wanted Visionaries Exhibition – 2015
Huge congratulations to the twenty artists whose works have been selected for the incredible honour to be exhibited at the Tethys Fine Art Gallery, Florence, Italy. I am delighted to publish The Photography Show 2015 Flickr Group Showcase that I presented this week on stage at show – 24 March 2015. The impact it made on the audience is one I will always remember, they were totally mesmerised by your art and the accompanying music.
