Welcome to our Photo App Lounge section of theappwhisperer.com. This is an area on our site where we ask highly accomplished mobile photographers what their top five photo apps are and why.
We recently published the Top Five Photo Apps as recommended by Yannick Brice , Cedric Blanchon, Irene Sneddon, our Columnist and Award Winning Mobile Artist Sarah Jarrett as well as Louise Fryer, Lisa Waddell and Davide Capponi Top Five Photo Apps including accompanying images demonstrating these selections.
Today we are featuring Ali Jardine, we have featured many of Ali’s incredibly creative images here on theappwhisperer.com over the years. From our Flickr Group Showcases, to A Day In The Life Interviews, Ali’s work has been an integral part of our culture and we are delighted today to publish her current Top Five Photo Apps along with stunning imagery, don’t miss this…
Number One – Oggl
My favorite photo app right now is Oggl. It is a Hipstamatic camera/sharing app that is fun for staying in the moment, but also allows for film and lens changes later on. Beware, it is addicting!
Free/download (paid subscription)
Number Two – Repix
Repix is my favorite painting app of the moment. It is extremely easy to use and effects can be adjusted using the undo brush. It offers more control than other painting apps that I’ve found so far and has some really great effects to play with.
Repix/Free/download (in app purchases)
Number Three – Juxtaposer
Juxtaposer has had a spot in my favorite app folder as long as I have had a favorite app folder. It is the easiest cut and paste that I have found so far, and I like that I can save stamps that I make to use over and over.
Juxtaposer – $2.99/£1.99/download
Number Four – Lens Light
Lens Light is a fun app to add stars, moons, suns, flares, rainbows, and many other effects to photos. What makes it so great is the flexibility of control over the color and brightness of the effects. It adds just a little extra something special.
Number Five – Color Lake
Color lake is the best way to add reflective water to your photos. It’s super easy and almost too much fun. I have to tried not to overdo this one, but it can be really difficult!
